Father Thing

Philip K's short story "The Father Thing" is an interesting read due to its perspective as its written from the perspective of a child. It reminded me of "Aura" because reading both stories gave a sense of uncertainty of what was real or not. Throughout the reading I was not sure if I should trust the narrator or if there was information not being revealed by the child. There were lots of supernatural events in the plot such as bugs that took over human bodies and so I had to suspend my disbelief. Overall I enjoyed the roller coaster ride of this story as well as its interesting and vague ending.
