Zombies

The idea of the dead becoming alive again is a very popular theme in books, movies, and even real life. I believe that this obsession is due to the fact that whenever a loved one dies we wish to bring them back.  We do realize that there would be consequences to this outcome however so we become obsessed on the ideas of zombies.  However this does not completely explain why there are people like Grandpa Joe who are prepared for the zombie apocalypse.  Many people are extremely worried about the zombie apocalypse and are storing away food and weapons in an attempt to better prepare themselves in what they believe to be a unavoidable future.  I have no belief in the matter of zombies but I do believe that there are a great number of people who do and that is part of the reason that the zombie theme has taken such a grip of our current society.
